Have you heard about the healing benefits of the amazing spice, cinnamon? As a powerful blood sugar stabilizer, cinnamon has well-documented medicinal benefits that can help anyone with fibromyalgia, chronic illness, or other inflammatory health challenges. To enjoy the healing benefits, it can’t get easier than adding this sweet and spicy seasoning to your recipes … or can it? I have a SENSE (hint, hint) that you’re missing out on this ONE potent healing method.
First, here’s a quick overview of some of the potential benefits of which you may already be aware.[1]
- Glucose level improvements
- Antioxidant benefits
- Reduction in brain degeneration
- Reduces the body’s negative response to dietary fat
- Chronic wound healing and skin problems
- Joint pain / inflammation relief
- Improved circulation
- Anti-nausea
- Fights bacterial and fungal infections
It’s easy to add cinnamon to soups, salads, smoothies, dressings, sauces, veggie dishes, side dishes, and more. Alternatively, taking a nutritional supplement can be an even easier option.
Of course, you’ve probably read the same ridiculous “health” articles that I have touting the super benefits of adding cinnamon to your apple pie, toast, oatmeal, sweetened yogurt, blended coffee drinks, etc.
This should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway:
If a food isn’t “healthy”
without cinnamon,
it won’t magically
become healthy with it.
The exciting news is that there’s an even more powerful – and direct – way to experience the healing benefits of cinnamon. Forget gum, candles, and chemically-laden room sprays. Instead, go right to the source … the purest source on the planet.
What’s even easier that adding cinnamon to the diet?
Take a whiff!

- Weight management (appetite suppressant)
- Balances blood sugar which increases energy production

Of course, the microcirculation properties of essential oils make them super-efficient at delivering their targeted health benefits.[3] Besides aromatically, health benefits can also be achieved through topical use. And, caution should always be observed to find the protocol that suits your specific needs.

This is really interesting to me Sue. I’ve been in the habit of adding cinnamon to my smoothies, teas, etc. but I never thought of the aroma therapy avenue. I don’t have a sense of smell so that might be why I didn’t think of it but I’ll have to try it. I keep a diffuse going almost all the time (the rest of the family enjoys it) so I’ll give cinnamon a try!
You’re so very welcome, Kim! It’s always fun to try new things. I like diffusing interesting combinations that make me feel happy, uplifted, and invigorated while I work. And, of course, other blends for other purposes, too 😉
