Are you gift shopping this week for Mother’s Day? You may not be shopping for Fibromyalgia Awareness day, but it’s around the corner, too. Every year, you’ll read blog posts and articles about increasing awareness of fibromyalgia. It’s my goal to raise awareness of ROOT CAUSES of fibromyalgia symptoms. And, how to heal them.
That’s why I talk about stress … a LOT.
The Gift of Stress Relief for Mother’s Day and Fibromyalgia Awareness Day
Whether you have fibromyalgia or not, stress is a big deal. It creeps into our daily lives and takes a death grip on our body’s ability to get out of the dreaded fight, flight, or freeze response.
You know the one.
That’s the response that causes our body to pump out cortisol (the stress hormone) like there’s no tomorrow. Literally. Your body thinks there’s no tomorrow.
So, what’s a body to do?
De-stress — that’s what!
And, why not have fun doing it? One way to is to color, doodle, draw, scribble, imagine, search for clues, and build up your repertoire of positivity and healthy living topics.
Why not do ALL of these in one, super fun activity?
Putting Strategies into Stress Relief
With my new Chronic Coloring activity book, you can meditate on inspirational quotes as you color in the mind-expansive mandalas.
Did you know that mandalas have been used for centuries to encourage stress relief, relaxation, introspective peace, and even problem-solving? They’re known to soothe and nourish the soul.[1]
And, the fun doesn’t stop there.
My Chronic Coloring activity book also includes puzzles that feature natural healing ideas on positivity, self-care, healthy treatments, body movement, nutrition, essential oils, and much more!
It’s my hope that you share the gift of stress management and healing with your mom, your sisters, your friends, and anyone with more stress in their lives than they need. No fibromyalgia or chronic illness diagnosis required.
And, if you do happen to have fibromyalgia and / or other chronic health challenges, why not spread the news of awareness with something that helps to heal the body at the root level? Fibromyalgia Awareness Day is May 12th but the topic is shared for the entire month of May. Why not boost your awareness and your health at the same time? Enjoy the benefits of what my Chronic Coloring activity book has to offer.
Need Encouragements and Healing?
When it comes to Mother’s Day, many of you may be missing your mothers this year. Or perhaps you know someone dealing with grief and loss. If so, I’d like to suggest this beautiful 44 page book filled with gorgeous original artwork from my fabulously artsy and creative friend, Fawn Ornelas. She’s combined some of her favorite artwork with powerful words of hope, healing, and comfort into one simple book.
By the way. The Anonymous Healer book is a perfect complement to the Chronic Coloring book. Together they pair beautifully to provide encouragement, stress management, and healing insight.
Do you have a favorite stress management technique? Have you tried coloring and doodling for stress management? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
