Are you looking for healthy summer sip recipes? Would you like to enjoy the flavors of summertime while supporting your body with nutritious, healthy drinks? Enjoy the following simple recipes and be sure to share them with friends.

Try the following recipes that take advantage of summertime seasonal produce such as antioxidant-rich watermelon, lemons, limes, berries, cherries, cucumbers, citrus, apples, and fresh herbs.

Healthy Sports Drink Swap

Have you ever read the ingredients in popular sports drinks? Touted as healthy, they’re anything but. They’re loaded with added sugar, salt, fake dyes and flavorings. Some use even worse ingredients such as brominated vegetable oils. Blech!

The good news is that you don’t have to bother with buying something off the shelf. You can make your own nutritious electrolyte replacement drinks at home.

Here’s a sweet one to try 😉

Watermelon Picker Upper Recipe

  • 1 Cup Watermelon chunks (seeds removed)
  • 1 Cup Coconut Water (unsweetened)
  • Juice of ½ of a Lime or Lemon
  • Pinch of Sea salt
  • Fresh Mint

Directions:

Place all of the ingredients into a blender and whiz away! Pour into chilled glass and enjoy.

Options:

Try adding fresh or frozen berries for a tasty punch.

Picnic-Worthy Lemonade

Lemonade is synonymous with summer, but why not add a zip of flavor with your favorite berries? This is refreshing lemonade at it’s best.

Raspberry Lemonade Recipe
