JOY HEALS IN MIRACULOUS WAYS

I’m so grateful to my friend and colleague, Debra Oakland, for sharing her fabulous information with our lovely Rebuilding Wellness community this week. Her blog, Living in Courage, explores her views on love, loss, relationships, healing, and how to live each day with courage and integrity. You’ll want to read more of her journey, I assure you.

Also — be sure to check out the link at the bottom of this page to view a post from you-know-who on her site….

Here’s what Debra has to say on one of my favorite subjects — JOY!

JOY and Healing
JOY and Healing

Joy heals in miraculous ways. I know this to be true for our personal lives, health, healing from grief and overcoming challenges. Tapping into this eternal reservoir of power begins with happiness and is frontrunner for joy in all areas of our lives.

The faith we lend to the subconscious mind gives us power. As William James states “This is the superstructure of happiness.” When you are happy, the whole world takes on a bright perspective. Making the intentional choice to be happy is a game changer.

While we are on the subject of joy, balance comes to mind.  We are all masculine and feminine energy, right and left brain, yin and yang. We also have the mental, physical and spiritual to balance along with the love, wisdom and power of the heart. When we are out of balance in any of these areas it affects us, thus reflecting out into our world.

Like any accomplishment, maintaining balance takes time. Find the areas most out of balance for you and begin working on them. Take small steps and combine each step with as much consistency as you can.

Joy is a beautiful thing. Joy is energy, you are energy. Let this magnificent quality perch in your soul. Carry it close to your heart in the expectation of the many changes that can and will occur as you balance life with the love, wisdom and power alive within you.

Watch the daily habits you engage in. What choices are you making that do, or do not push your happy button. As you take note of what and who triggers your unhappy button, it becomes easier to make the necessary changes you desire. Now go out and push some HAPPY Buttons. It’s Free!

“The greatest discovery of the 19th century was not in the realm of the physical sciences, but the power of the subconscious mind touched by faith. Any individual can tap into an eternal reservoir of power that will enable them to overcome any problem that may arise. All weaknesses can be overcome, bodily healing, financial independence, spiritual awakening, prosperity beyond your wildest dreams. This is the superstructure of happiness.”

– William James, Harvard Psychologist, the Father of American Psychology.
