Quarantine COVID-19 Stress Call
There’s no right or wrong. Stress compounds under the best of circumstances for those with fibromyalgia and chronic illness.
And during times of stress, quarantine, and multiplying cases of COVID-19, our symptoms may increase dramatically.
Whether you’re under a shelter-in-place order or a stay-at-home order (as I am), or are self-quarantined, the results may not be all that different from your “regular” life.
You may spend more time at home. You may avoid crowds. You may be dealing with a significant flare of symptoms.
No matter the situation, my heart is heavy for those in need.

The Effects of Stress
Every news channel blares doom. Neighbors may or may not support, wave, or even offer assistance. Families are separated by miles, boundaries, and governmental rules.
Are you experiencing this increased worldwide stress with increased symptoms? That may mean more pain, more fog, less sleep, and less energy.
Stress puts an added burden on an already over-taxed body. Stress amplifies and worsens physical symptoms. Stress also compounds cognitive challenges making decision-making, rational thought, and logical reasoning tougher.
Sometimes it takes an objective outside source to help make sense of things.
