ARE YOU A WINNER?
It’s been a LONG two weeks waiting … waiting … waiting to announce a winner of my Kitchen Gadget Bonanza contest giveaway, but the wait is over. I tested the kitchen tools myself, blogged about them, and was fortunate enough to be able to offer one lucky reader a FREE set of Stress Less kitchen tools just for commenting on this blog.
These tools are pretty nifty, so be sure to read more about the Stress Less kitchen tools from the Trudeau Corporation, HERE:
And it’s time to announce the winner’s name … right after telling you a bit about the drawing itself. In fact, let me show you how I made sure this contest drawing was as impartial as I could make it.
To be free of my sole influence, I hired (well, bribed) an assistant. I carefully selected someone honest (other than the bribery thing), trustworthy, and – available mid-day on a Monday. I chose my lovely and completely unbiased granddaughter, Haley!
Here’s how we did it:
First, we compiled the names of the entrants onto three typed pages.
Next – we cut them out to make individual, same-sized slips of paper.
After folding them in half, we placed them in a colander. When I asked her to reach in and pick a name, she said, “Shouldn’t we use a Trudeau kitchen tool?”
The little smarty pants.…
I knew the pizza cutter, salt & pepper mills, and the Parmesan grinder were of no help. But, the garlic press and can opener were contenders. In the end, the can opener sufficed as the handles worked quite well as pincers.
Congratulations – Judith Gucker!!!
Thanks so much, everyone, for participating in this giveaway. You are ALL winners, of course. I look forward to doing another giveaway very soon. Would you like to see me review any other particular products/services/equipment/foods? Tell me what you’d like to see below!
Thank you, Sue! My friend Ann and I will have fun trying them all out.
I’m so happy for you both — what a great example of friendship! Let me know what you think of the tools when you receive them!
Thank you, Sue for your post on my FaceBook page about connecting at Bill Janeshak’s Health Fair at Sprouts Farmers Market in Savi Ranch in Yorba Linda this Saturday, May 23rd!
That prompted me to check out your website: http://www.rebuildingwellness.com. I am very impressed with the way you have turned tragedy into triumph! You have gone from disability with fibromyalgia to superb health by researching and applying natural health principles. I have several friends whom I am eager to connect to your book: FibroWhyAlgia!
Evidently we are on the same page regarding the importance of natural health. From early childhood my mom taught us to choose healthy food and drinks. For decades I have been researching and enjoying a wide range of holistic health resources! I am eager to meet you and your team to explore how we can enhance each others lives, business and ministries!
Thanks Jeff! It does sound like we’re on the same page. I’ll be at the event on Saturday for a few hours anyway. I’m giving a lecture at Cal State and will have to leave early. Hope to see you there!
Your choice of model was perfect! Good job Haley!!
