Would you like to keep things simple this Christmas? Isn’t there enough going on with chronic illness symptoms and dealing with fibromyalgia? In the interest of paring things down to what’s truly central in life, I’d like to offer the following P.E.A.C.E. prayer.
Take the time to PAUSE today. Stop and listen to the beat of your own heart, if only for a moment. Feel the stillness within.
EMBRACE your current feelings, emotions, and thoughts. Whatever they are, simply observe them with a sense of curiosity and neutrality.
When you think of your situation, ACCEPT who you are, how you feel, and what you want from life. Focus on the journey and your destination will unfold all on its own.
At all times, be kind. Show COMPASSION to others and don’t forget to include yourself in that list.
Whittle away the debris of busy-ness and take a deep breath. Ask yourself, “Is this truly ESSENTIAL?” If so, proceed with a smile on your lips and a prayer in your heart.
Blessings to each and
every one of you

Excellent P.E.A.C.E.
All good wishes for a happy and blessed Christmas Dx
Thanks Dorothy! Blessings to you 😉
Thank you Sue, I really needed this today. I am recovering from pneumonia. Talk about a double whammy for fatigue. This is our first Christmas with our grandson and I am trying so hard to remember what is truly important.
Thank you for another year of the best advice and guidance on living with Fibro, and just living life in general.
May you and yours have a blessed Christmas, a prosperous and New Year, and may 2016 find you healthy, happy and loved.
Kim – as always, wishing you a blessed year ahead and continued healing. Merry Christmas!
Thank you Sue for your peace prayer.
You are doing a wonderful service to many
people like me who are in the Fibro freeze
and working our way to healing.
Blessings, Doris
Doris – thanks so much for being part of this community!
